Katie Nolan

Director of Research and Investigation Katie Nolan brings nearly a decade of investigative experience to Pugsley Wood. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a research investigator at a prominent securities fraud class action law firm, where she developed a special focus on whistleblower matters. An innovator, she employs her prior experience and advanced investigative skills to assemble the most pertinent information to support our clients’ cases. That skill set has allowed Ms. Nolan to make significant contributions to multiple fraud investigations that have resulted in successful whistleblower recoveries. Ms. Nolan’s passion for assisting whistleblowers drew her to Pugsley Wood, where she now balances her time between managing investigations on the Firm’s whistleblower cases and educating the Firm’s attorneys on the latest research technologies and investigation techniques.

Ms. Nolan grew up in a Foreign Service family and has intensive international experience. She was educated in Ireland and Cyprus as well as the US prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama. She has previously worked on medical insurance fraud investigations at a private firm working closely with major insurance companies.
